ACTAIS® Waste will allow more efficient management and full control of the traceability of reusable products, as well as their flow back to the market.
The Consorci per a la GestiódelsResidus del Vallès Oriental has been promoting the RNOVA program since the end of 2013, a unique project that has managed to combine environmental sensitivity with social sensitivity. The objective of RNOVA is the labor inclusion of people with disabilities or at risk of exclusion through the reuse of objects collected in the 25 fixed deixalleries and 1 mobile deixalleries managed by the public company ServeisAmbientals del Vallès Oriental S.A.
After theircollection, inspection, classification and storage in a central facility, these reusable products (a total of 15,994 objects in 2021) are marketedthroughtheentitiesofthe LISMIVO networkthatadheretotheprogram.
In 2022, as part of its commitment to continuous improvement in service to citizens and the adoption of new management technologies, the Consorci has promoted the digitization of the RNOVA program, relying on Ecocomputer's ACTAIS® Waste system (already in use since 2018 for the management of its deixalleries).
Specific functionalities for managing reuse have been added to the system in use, through the ACTAIS® Waste Circular module. This module makes it possible to adapt to the existing reuse flow in each case (exchange space, showroom, web portal) using the same input and output management applications.
ACTAIS® Waste will allow the Consorci to have automated data in real time on the flow of reusable products, from their collection to their sale. This will result in better management and monitoring of the RNOVA program.
