Consorci residus Ribera i Valldigna (CRiV) is one of 13 consortia in Comunitat Valenciana. It manages the transfer, treatment, recovery and disposal of waste of 51 regions and other 3 local autorithies in La Ribera i La Valldigna area. CRiV provides services to more than 325,000 citizens. Among the facilities of the CRiV, the Guadassuar Domestic Waste Recovery Complex stands out, a benchmark in the sector; and also its network of 30 ecoparks (27 fixed and 3 mobile).
In recent months, and within its commitment to continuous improvement in citizen service, and the adoption of new technologies in management, the CRiV has promoted the eco-park network computerization project (together with the management company, Reciclados Ribera del Xúquer, S.L. - RRX)
Within this framework, ACTAIS® Waste by Ecocomputer has been the technological solution chosen for the digitalization of the CRiV ecoparks network. It is an access control and waste management system that will allow the CRiV to have automated data in real time. This will result in a better network management; in a total control of the traceability of waste; in an adequate adaptation to the WEEE regulations; and in a greater capacity to involve citizens in selective collection, through the articulation of environmental and bonus campaigns.
ACTAIS® Waste FrontOffice solution has been installed in those ecoparks with the highest traffic (18). It comprises an interactive totem, associated with a barrier, in which the user can declare the waste he carries and access the data of his environmental account.
In all other fixed ecoparks, the ACTAIS® Waste Mobile APP is used, through a mobile device, which allows the controller to identify the user and capture the types of waste and quantities it provides.
The interactive totem has also been installed in the three mobile ecoparks that serve in those municipalities that do not have a fixed ecopark within the scope of the CRiV. In this case, it is a totem specifically designed for mobile ecoparks.
In addition, ACTAIS® Waste Citizen tool has been made available to the public. This is an APP and a website where the citizen can manage their visits and their profile, download their receipts for waste deliveries, and obtain additional information on the ecoparks of the CRiV (schedule, location, etc.). Therefore, it will be a direct communication channel between the CRiV and the citizen.
