Ecocomputer staff has visited TRAKO Expo from 24 till 26 September, 2013, celebrated at the Amber Expo in the nice city of Gdansk, Poland. There were mantained several scheduled meetings with prestigious polish companies on the railways sector.
It is expected from Poland many investments for the coming years in the railways sector. Railways market is being opened not only on cargo but also on passengers business.
As part of the Polish efforts to mordernised its railways infrastructure, was presented during the fare the Pendolino, the first high-speed train of the Polish Company PKP. The train, which was made at the Alstom factory in Savigliano, Italy, is part of a programme to reduce journey durations between key Polish cities. Public should be able to take advantage of the new model as of December 2014.
TRAKO is the largest and most prestigious rail industry meeting in Poland and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. A presentation of the state of the art in transport systems and railway infrastructure in Poland, Europe and round the world. The Fair takes place every two years.
The 10th anniversary edition of the TRAKO International Railway Fair has received the Honorary Auspices of Poland's Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy.
